DS Watson Civil Engineering (Anglia) Ltd is a 50 year established, privately owned Groundwork and Civil Engineering company working for Developers and Main Contractors.

DS Watson has its working office in Beccles (Suffolk) and predominantly operates within the regions of Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, but has also worked in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. Our labour force enables us to cover these areas and maintain the needs for highly productive sites.

The business aim is to deliver a quality service and end product to its clients. This is executed by professional and technically skilled personnel both on site and in office. These skills are expressed over a range of construction methods to ensure the clients design brief is met. We strive to serve our clients needs by executing projects to the highest standards, delivering excellent cost value and by meeting all construction programme requirements.

Heath and safety is of paramount importance and we ensure all our personnel on site and within office are suitably trained and surpass the standards required to comply with Health and Safety Law. This is a by product of our company policy to ensure that we promote a safe and healthy working environment for all our staff. The company employs a NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety Officer executing and delivering safe systems of work to all employees.

The company’s current annual turnover is circa £19 Million and employs over 160 people. The company re-invests in Plant, Machinery and Tools in order to continuously provide not only the correct means to producing our service but also the means to ensure the company functions at the forefront of market leading technologies.
